September New Beginnings

Good early morning on this 1st day of September, I wanted to talk about new beginning, there comes a point where sometimes in life you just have to say enough is enough, and make new beginnings. This could come in many forms could be a job your not happy with or it could be a relationship/divorce from a spouse that hasnt cared about you from day one.

New beginnings are necessary sometimes and while they may be hard at first overtime with Gods help it will get better thing of new beginnings like this fall must come before springtime brings the beauty (heard this from someone dear to me). If we stand with God through whatever change comes He promises to watch over us and be with us.

So in closing what new beginning are you happy about but also probably dreading, give it to the Lord let Him walk you through it and He will, make sure you have close friends walking with you through it to. lifes challenges are easy to deal with when you have someone you can walk through it with, or if you have community walking with you thats great too. I remember when my mom passed away 4 years ago having my Calvary community group there for me they brought food by the house and were there for me if i needed someone to hangout with.

So dont be afraid of new beginnings yes it might seem scary no matter what it is but the Lord is there with you and so are those closest to you, lean on those people, lean on your church community too. We werent meant to go this life alone. In closing (for real this time) i had a new beginning recently i moved into my own apartment, it was scary at first but walking with community and my lady that makes me smile made it easier, so dont be afraid of new beginnings He will guide you through it.

Pain

Pain comes in many forms, tonight i feel pain in my heart i let my emotions get the best of me tonight and emotionally hurt my girlfriend. Why are my emotions so hard to understand sometimes i think its because i am fast paced and i dont take time to consider how my emotions might hurt someone when they come out. I need to learn to slow down and process my emotions. My heart hurts tonight and only the Lord can heal it.

He heals all our pain that we have in life he loves to heal broken things if we let Him. Lord help me with my emotions please i hurt my girlfriend tonight by letting them control my thinking and my body.

Alone

I am going to be honest right now i feel so alone, satan would love nothing better than to tell me i am worthless right now, but i am staring him down and telling him I am a child of God. Yes i might have made a mistake today and hurt the one person i love and want to spend life with. That doesnt mean I am worthless, God loves me and i know my love does to. At times like these it’s easy to just give up and throw in the towel but I am standing up and saying not today satan you will not get the best of me.

Maybe you feel alone to know that God loves you where you are and no matter how many times you may fall just get back up and run your race with endurance that the Lord has set before you he loves you and wants to pursue you with everything, so give Him everything and He will make you whole in every area of your life. We have to let the Lord work in and through our mistakes, He can make beautiful art through the messiness of our lives if we just let Him.

God Wants our Best

Have you ever felt like being done with anything in life, could be a job or people, well i want to encourage you. God gave us work to be lights to people in a dark world you might not like what you do but the Lord has you there for a purpose. God went to great lengths to bring us into His family. and He wants us to spread that news to others God doesn’t want anyone left out. He wants us to work as unto Him.

By doing that and showing Christ to others where you are you never know who you might bring into eternity with you that the Lord is working on their hearts. it might look bleak but its not and the Lord will guide us if we just trust Him and take Him at His word.

Mother’s Day

Today is mother’s day a day to celebrate moms everywhere or to reflect back on the years you had your mom if she is gone now. Moms are the best they get their sons and daughters perfectly. Its also a sad time for those that have lost mothers. Its a reminder of what should have been. Know the Lord loves you if that is you.

Grace

I want you to think with me for a minute, about God’s grace and mercy He gives it to us new every morning even when we dont deserve it. He looks at me and you and says I love you with everything come to Him with all your flaws and mistakes and he will do mighty works in your life. He wants to turn your life upside down for Jesus God’s kingdom in relation to the world is upside down. He wants us to be open and honest with Him and He extends grace and mercy daily. That doesnt mean that we can go on merrily sinning no! we need to strive after Christ daily.

Lets follow Him wherever He leads us on this great adventure of life, no matter the cost i am all in for Jesus are you?

The Rock Won’t Move

Do you ever feel like things around you or in your life are crashing down around you? if so I want to give you some encouragement today, there is one who has already overcome death hell and sin and his name is Jesus He won’t move plant your feet in Him today, things might be crazy but with Jesus as your savior you are immovable sure you might go through tough times but God has got your back through it all.

He took the cross me and you deserved and died a death me and you deserve, He will not leave nor forsake you. He will guide you through whatever storms may come your way. Trust Him with your all, one day things will be made right when we stand face to face with our creator, quit trying to get through things on your own and let Jesus guide you through life. He wants your all every part of you! let Him have it you won’t regret it. There will come a day where we will sing endless praises to the God who saved us for eternity. Let that time start now it doesn’t matter what you have done God saves anybody!

Empathy or Passion

The other night I was listening to Passion Conferences online and Louie Gigilio shared a great definition of Passion that I want to share and dive into. the definition he shared was this Passion= degree of difficulty you are willing to endure to accomplish the goal, what goals do you have that might require some difficulty. I know one of my biggest ones i want to work on is continusouly growing my relationship with God, and then being a better man to my girlfriend. Growing in my relationship with God requires not going backwards not falling for worldly things like pornography or money. it requires finding ways not to find myself in a spot where i am looking at that stuff. That stuff isn’t pleasing to God and it shows women as objects to be used they are not objects to be used they are people like me created by God Himself. Being a better man to my girlfriend will require being more open and honest when i am struggling with things letting my life be an open book to her.

For me especially being open about things i struggle with is hard im afraid if im open that people won’t love me or will see me as less than, which is a lie from the devil Himself. Why should i be afraid God doesn’t look at me differently, in the end i want my life to count for Christ and you should to because we don’t have long to live on this earth life is but a vapor. Some things i want to accomplish might be difficult but with God all things are possible.

So what things might require difficulty to be all in for Christ where you say YES LORD wherever you lead whatever it costs im all in until He calls us home. Think about what might be difficult to endure, but will be worth it all in the end. Pray to the Lord to help you through those things.

Above All

I want to start by asking a question, Where do you turn to when everything seems to fall apart or go wrong. Do you turn to worldly things or do you turn to the One who is above everything and above all Jesus. Jesus wants to be there for every part of our lives in the good times and in the bad times. Jesus went to great lengths to show us He wants to be there through everything for us He died on the cross for me and you to have eternal life with Him.

We need to look to Him for our strength and guidance he will get us through anything we may face.

Where God Wants

I don’t know about any of you reading this but for the longest time i struggled with the question am I where God wants me to be, and i can’t say i have things figured out yet because i have a sinful heart, but i realized the other night while at work that my work place is definitely one place God placed me, I believe He put me where I am to brighten peoples day and to be there for them when a lot of people aren’t. I get to be around and encourage people and pray with people that are some of the most precious people you could imagine. God doesn’t make mistakes when He puts us somewhere He places us there wherever there is for a reason.

So while i may not have the whole christian life figured out I know God has me where I am to which is an assisted living facility to brighten peoples day and maybe just maybe point someone to Jesus through a kind word or just listening to them. That’s what Jesus did He stopped and listened to people he met them right where they were and didn’t rush them into anything. Let Him use you wherever you are He might be redefining someone’s future through you.
